WABASH, IN – Beacon Credit Union has named Megan Callahan as District Member Center Manager.

In her new role, Callahan will provide leadership, guidance and support to Credit Union Member Center Managers and Supervisors. She will be responsible for instilling the credit union’s core values into the member center culture through personal monitoring and coaching. She will direct and monitor member centers operations, alongside the Member Center Managers and Supervisors, which impact services offered to members and the credit union’s future growth.

Callahan was previously Member Center Manager at Beacon’s Miami St. location where she was responsible for day-to-day operations and staff development. She has over 18 years of credit union experience, holding various positions including Teller, Financial Service Representative, and Manager. Callahan joined Beacon in 2014 after being with Kitsap Credit Union in Washington State.

A Wabash native, Callahan graduated from Wabash High School and attended Vincennes University and Ball State University. She currently serves on the board of directors for Wabash Valley Dance Theater. As well as completing the Leadership Development Program of Wabash County, she is also a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor.

Callahan resides with her husband and children in Wabash, Indiana.
