INDIANA (October 13) – On October 12, 70 Beacon Credit Union employees stepped away from their usual routines to give back, volunteer their time, and make a meaningful difference for organizations throughout Indiana.

Employees were divided into four districts throughout the state, allowing teams to lend a helping hand to organizations serving their local communities. Participating organizations included Babe of Wabash County, Josiah White’s, Fulton County Animal Center and Shelter, Huntington Parks Department, DeKalb Council on Pregnancy, Hoosier Uplands – Mitchell Head Start Center, and Hoosier Uplands – Salem Preschool.

Through this initiative, Beacon Credit Union employees had the opportunity to step away from their daily responsibilities and dedicate their time to causes that make a difference in the lives of others. The day reflected Beacon’s ongoing commitment to community involvement, service, and building meaningful connections throughout the communities it serves.

“We believe that being a part of our communities means more than providing financial services. It means showing up, lending a hand, and supporting the organizations that make our communities stronger,” said Tiffany Yoquelet, VP of Strategic Initiatives. “We are grateful to the 70 employees who participated and to the organizations that welcomed our teams. Their work makes a lasting difference, and we are excited to continue this tradition in the years ahead.”

Beacon Credit Union looks forward to continuing its Volunteer Day tradition and partnering with additional local organizations to create meaningful opportunities for employees to give back.
