WABASH, Ind. (Aug. 8, 2024) – Beacon Credit Union proudly announces the appointment of Greg McCoy as the Vice President of Commercial Lending. With 30 years in the banking and credit industry, McCoy brings in-depth knowledge to his upcoming responsibilities.
“We are thrilled to welcome Greg to the Credit Union as our new Vice President of Commercial Lending,” Trisha Loker, Chief Credit Officer said. “His vast commercial lending knowledge and years of commercial lending experience will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our commercial loan portfolio.”
In this role, McCoy will be responsible for developing and leading the commercial business activities for Beacon Credit Union including originating, underwriting, and management of commercial loans while following our core values.
“I look forward to use what I have learned through experience, good and bad, to be an important part of helping the Credit Union expand its ability to serve our member business owners and build a part of Beacon that will contribute to future growth and success,” McCoy said.
McCoy joins Beacon Credit Union after working at Inova Federal Credit Union as VP of Business Development. He also has 16 years of experience from Key Bank.
Originally from the South Bend – Elkhart area, McCoy now resides in Roanoke, Indiana. He attended Indiana University Kelly School of Business where he majored in finance. He has two adult daughters and a grandson who live in Mishawaka.
