Check presentation for  Beacon Credit Union donates $1500 to Indiana State Police AlliancePERU, Ind. (April 10, 2024) – Beacon Credit Union recently donated $1500 to Indiana State Police Alliance (ISPA) for their open house April 19.

At the first of its kind open house, ISPA members present to over 300 students with interest in law enforcement.

The troopers inform students about the career opportunities in law enforcement, sharing their firsthand experience about each career track.

Some of the careers include DES (drug enforcement section), Scuba, SWAT, Investigation, Aviation, CSI, Bomb Squad, Hostage Negotiations, Crimes Against Children, and Road Trooper.

“It is an honor to help promote law enforcement careers within the local community and help them to educate our youth and potentially recruit new troopers,” Beacon Credit Union Peru Member Center Manager Tina Carter said.
