RUSHVILLE, Ind. (March 29, 2024) – Beacon Credit Union recently donated $500 to DEBrooke Equine Center, LLC. for their scholarship fund.
DEBrooke Equine Center, LLC is a locally-owned equine facility which provides therapeutic riding lessons and hippotherapy sessions for children of all ages and young adults.
Hippotherapy is a form of physical and speech therapy which uses the movements of a horse to promote motor and sensory skills.
“When I first heard of DEBrooke Equine Center, LLC, I instantly fell in love with the services they provide for our Rush County community,” Rushville Member Center Manager Diana Marlatt said.
Marlatt, Diane Newhouse, and Daisy Rogers from the Rushville Member Center visited the DEBrooke Equine Center.
“We know of several members that either work there or go there for the therapy,” Rogers said. “Getting to watch our own members do their hippothreapy program in person was really neat.”
