GARRETT, Ind. (April 12, 2024) – Beacon Credit Union recently donated $500 to Garrett-Keyser-Butler Community School District for the purchase of laptops for the school district’s top 10 seniors with the highest GPA.
Garrett Member Center Manager Brandy Parker said the Credit Union continues to donate to the “Top 10 Seniors” laptop program because it equips students with the materials they need to be successful.
“This year’s donation was special to us here in Garrett because we donated in memory of Stephanie Sonnenberg,” Parker said. “Stephanie is a late member of Beacon Credit Union and a former graduate of Garrett High School.”
