Orleans, IN. (Jan. 26, 2026) – Jake Carter has been named Manager of Beacon Credit Union’s Orleans Member Center located at 870 S. Maple St. In this role, Carter oversees staff to ensure professional, prompt service to members, responds to inquiries about credit union products and services, resolves member issues in accordance with policies and procedures, and performs member transactions and account openings as needed. He also actively monitors and supports the overall growth of the member center.
Carter brings a strong background in leadership, training, and financial services to Beacon Credit Union. His professional experience includes service as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy from 2012 to 2017, followed by roles at Mid-Southern Savings Bank as a Teller and Loan Processor. He later joined Crane Credit Union, where he served as a Teller/MSR before advancing to Corporate Trainer, a role he held from 2020 to 2025. In 2025, Carter joined Beacon Credit Union as an Assistant Member Center Manager.
Carter holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Management and Leadership from Vincennes University. He also earned a Certificate in Human Resources from Ivy Tech Community College.
Originally from the area, Carter resides in Orleans with his wife, Hannah, and the couple will celebrate nine years of marriage this June. They share their home with two dogs, Bear and Bailey. Outside of work, Carter enjoys spending time with family, golfing, gardening during the summer months, and running. He is currently training for a marathon and also enjoys traveling with his wife.
