SALEM, Ind. (August 13, 2025) – Beacon Credit Union recently donated $5,000 to Washington County Fairgrounds in support of purchasing new bleachers for their show arena.

This organization provides a safe place for the 4-H youth to show livestock during the 4-H fair and other sponsored events. Empowering youth to reach their full potential, working and learning in partnership with caring adults.

“At Beacon, we believe in supporting the communities we serve in ways that create lasting impact. This donation is especially meaningful to me because I grew up showing in 4-H right here in this arena—and back then, we were sitting on the very same bleachers. Helping the Washington County Fair purchase new seating means more families and friends can come together to cheer on their neighbors, enjoy the shows, and create memories for years to come,” said Assistant Member Center Manager, Miranda Wischmeier.
