SEYMOUR, Ind. (December 12, 2024) – Beacon Credit Union recently donated $1000 to Anchor House.

Anchor House is a great organization that benefits the community in so many ways. They have programs that help families and individuals get employment, a place of residence, and help with financial stability. In the economy today, there are difficult times and families struggle to make ends meet and the support that the Anchor House provides has meaning. Families and individuals can get food supplies, a place to stay, and job assistance.

“At Beacon, we are all about supporting the communities we serve! It is an honor to work with families and individuals with financial help,” Beacon Credit Union Seymour Member Center Manager Amy Steitz said. “During the holiday season it is especially nice to give back and help out those people in our communities.”

“It is a great reward to be able to be a part of supporting this organization and be able to help out where it is needed” Steitz continued. “It is a wonderful feeling knowing that our donation can help remove someone from the streets and help to make a better life for themselves.”
