MITCHELL, Ind. (July 17, 2025) – Beacon Credit Union recently donated $2,000 to Hoosier Uplands.
“Hoosier Uplands is a remarkable organization that gives back to the community through grants, employment opportunities, and essential support services. It is dedicated to serving the needs of the poor, elderly, and individuals with disabilities,” Mitchell Assistant Member Center Manager Kourtni Knapp said.
“It’s inspiring to see the positive impact Hoosier Uplands has on our community. As a local nonprofit, it serves in many vital roles—including Area Agency on Aging, Community Action Agency, licensed Home Health Care and Hospice provider, and Community Housing Development Organization—working to improve lives across our region.”
