Wabash, IN (November 20) – The generosity of Beacon Credit Union members and staff shined brightly throughout this year’s fundraising campaign for Riley Children’s Foundation. With strong participation in community events and heartfelt community contributions, members, alongside dedicated employees, helped raise $65,000 to support pediatric research and the specialized care Riley provides to children across Indiana.

Throughout 2025, Beacon Member Centers and employees organized a wide range of creative and engaging activities to encourage member involvement. Many locations even participated in friendly competitions, inviting members to cast their “votes” through donations. From candy bar sales and pie wars and other community-focused efforts, each event brought members together in fun and meaningful ways to support the cause.

“As part of our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve, we are honored to continue our partnership with the Riley Children’s Foundation,” said Dustin Cuttriss, Beacon’s Chief Executive Officer. “The generosity shown by our employees and members is truly inspiring, and we are grateful for everyone who helped make this year’s fundraising efforts a success for such an important resource.”

Riley Children’s Foundation offers hope to thousands of families seeking exceptional medical care for seriously ill and injured children. Since opening in 1924 as Indiana’s first hospital devoted exclusively to children, Riley Hospital for Children has grown into the state’s largest pediatric research center, known for groundbreaking treatments and compassionate care.
