Beacon Credit Union is excited to welcome MSSB members and provide updates regarding your new Beacon debit card.
Recently, you may have received a text message alerting you that a digital debit card is available. Please note: this digital card is for your new Beacon Credit Union debit card, which is being mailed to you and will arrive in the next couple of weeks.
The text message you received is legitimate, but it was sent in error and does not apply to your new Beacon debit card. Your new Beacon debit card will be ready to use starting at 5:00 PM on Friday, July 25.
Until then, please continue using your current MSSB debit card as usual. You will be able to activate and begin using your new Beacon card after the switchover on July 25 at 5 PM.
What You Need to Know:
- The text message you received is legitimate, but it was sent in error and does not apply to your new Beacon debit card.
- Your new plastic Beacon debit card will arrive in the mail within the next two weeks.
- Do not attempt to use the new card until 5:00 PM on July 25, 2025.
