In response to Governor Holcomb’s announcement of Indiana’s “Roadmap to Safely Reopen Indiana”, Beacon Credit Union will open our lobbies with normal hours starting Monday, May 18th. This reopening will include all retail offices, except for our branches in Logansport, which are tentatively set to reopen in early June.
What does this mean for you, our members?
Our lobbies will be welcoming back members with a strict focus on safety. Lobbies have been reconfigured to allow for social distancing, including signage and decals on the floor we have all become familiar with in recent weeks. You will notice plexiglass sneeze guards installed at our teller and Member Service Representative areas. Members will not be required to wear masks upon entry, but are encouraged to do so. Also, there will be a limit on the number of members allowed in a branch at one time to help maintain social distancing.
We strongly encourage members to continue to use our digital delivery channels and only come into the lobby if necessary. Our full suite of electronic channels, including our Contact Center, can perform almost every transaction you would need, efficiently and effectively. Loan closings will continue to be done remotely via secure document delivery when possible.
As time and regulations permit, we will gradually add conveniences back to waiting areas, additional staff will move back into offices and we’ll allow more people into the lobby. We will be cautious and methodical in our approach to employee and member safety.
