Wabash, IN. (Aug. 11, 2025) – Beacon Credit Union is proud to announce the promotion of Megan Callahan to Vice President of Lending. In her new role, Callahan will work with lenders across all credit union platforms to cross-sell Beacon products and services to members, provide collaboration within the lending department to deliver an exceptional member and borrower experience, and lead training initiatives for lending personnel. She will also evaluate and implement process improvement strategies to drive continued growth within the lending department.

A lifelong Wabash resident, Callahan graduated from Wabash High School before earning her Associate’s Degree in Education from Vincennes University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Administration from Western Governors University.

Callahan began her career in financial services in 2005 as an Assistant Manager at Kitsap Credit Union, where she served until 2014. She joined Beacon Credit Union later that year, holding various leadership positions including Member Center Manager and District Manager. In 2016, she graduated from the Leadership Development Program of Wabash County.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in this new role and to continue building strong relationships with our members and teams. I look forward to working alongside our talented lending team to provide financial solutions to our members while supporting Beacon Credit Union’s mission,” Callahan said.

Callahan resides in Wabash with her husband and children. She is passionate about serving her community and looks forward to continuing her work helping members achieve their financial goals.
