Salem, IN (June 30) – Beacon Credit Union recently donated $2,000 to support Kids Day at the Washington County Fair, helping provide a fun and memorable experience for local children and families.
With the donation the Washington County Fair Board was able to offer free food and drinks to approximately 300 children attending the event. Kids Day is designed to give children of all ages the opportunity to enjoy the fair while participating in a variety of activities and community-focused experiences.
In addition to complimentary refreshments, local businesses and organizations, including the fire department and police department, hosted booths and interactive games throughout the day. These activities allowed children to engage with community partners in a fun and welcoming environment.
“We chose to support Kids Day because it provides an opportunity for children of all ages to come and enjoy a day at the fair,” said Allison Stalker, Beacon Credit Union’s Salem Member Center Manager. “It feels great to be a part of an event that brings so much excitement and enjoyment to local kids and families.”
