Huntington, IN (October 23) – Beacon Credit Union recently presented a $500 donation to the Huntington University women’s soccer team to help support the team’s travel, meals, and other expenses throughout the season.

As the team’s conference season continues through October 28, the Foresters are working hard to secure a spot among the top eight teams advancing to the Crossroads League Tournament. From there, 45 teams from across the country will qualify for the national championship, a goal the Huntington University women’s soccer team continues to pursue.

“Huntington University is such an important part of our community and continues to make a positive impact in the lives of students and residents alike,” said Nathan Zeller, Huntington Member Center Manager. “We’re proud to support the women’s soccer program and help provide resources that allow these student-athletes to continue working toward their goals.”

Beacon Credit Union is committed to supporting local organizations, educational institutions, and community programs that make a meaningful difference throughout the communities it serves. Supporting the Huntington University women’s soccer team is another way Beacon demonstrates its commitment to investing in local initiatives and celebrating the people who help strengthen the Huntington community.
