Peru, IN (July 20) – Beacon Credit Union’s Peru Member Center recently presented a $1,000 donation to support the Circus City Festival Parade, one of Miami County’s most celebrated annual traditions.
Held as the grand finale of the Circus City Festival, the Peru Circus City Festival Parade is recognized as the longest-running circus heritage parade in the United States and the second-largest parade in Indiana. Each year, the event attracts thousands of spectators from across Indiana and neighboring states, bringing families together to celebrate Peru’s rich circus history and designation as the “Circus Capital of the World.”
The parade serves as more than a community celebration. It helps preserve a unique piece of Indiana heritage while supporting local tourism, businesses, organizations, and youth programs that contribute to the event’s success.
“Supporting the Peru Circus City Festival Parade is an investment in a tradition that brings our community together,” said Tina Carter, Beacon Credit Union’s Peru Broadway Member Center Manager. “It was an amazing experience to be part of this presentation and support an event that has such a positive impact on Miami County.”
Beacon Credit Union is committed to strengthening the communities it serves by supporting organizations and events that enhance quality of life, encourage community engagement, and create opportunities for future generations.
