Beacon Credit Union Sponsors Girls Inc.,SEYMOUR, Ind. (May 2, 2024) – Beacon Credit Union recently donated $1000 to Girls Inc.

The mission of the longest-running girls’ leadership program is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. The organization does so through mentorship and programs hosted in a pro-girl environment.

“Girls Inc empowers the children of this community to learn new things and assure them that they can be or do anything they put their mind too,” Seymour Member Center Manager Amy Steitz said. “The kids are the future so Beacon looks for ways to empower that younger generation as they are the leaders of the future.”

The Member Center Manager also said the amount of support Girls Inc receives locally speaks to the compassion the community has for the organization and its mission.

Steitz also said the organization is a way for individuals to be inspired and build life-long friendships.

“It is a great feeling to give to this organization as they are a community minded organization that looks for ways to help that younger generation learn and advance in what interest them,” Steitz said.
