MARION, Indiana — Beacon Credit Union celebrated the groundbreaking of its newest Member Center location on Friday, May 29th. The new facility will be located at 4506 South Western Avenue in Marion.
The new location marks Beacon Credit Union’s second full-service retail Member Center in the Marion community, further strengthening the credit union’s commitment to serving members throughout Grant County and surrounding areas.
“Marion has been an important part of Beacon Credit Union’s story for many years, and we are excited to continue investing in this community,” said Beacon Credit Union President/CEO Dustin Cuttriss. “This new Member Center represents our ongoing commitment to providing convenient access, meaningful relationships, and financial services that help our members and communities thrive.”
The new Member Center project brings together experienced partners with deep roots in Northeast Indiana.
Michael Kinder & Sons has been selected to build the new Beacon Credit Union Member Center. Founded in Fort Wayne in 1892, MKS has grown from humble beginnings into one of the region’s most trusted construction partners. Still family‑owned and now led by the fourth generation, the Kinder family and their team continue a 130‑year tradition of delivering projects with integrity, craftsmanship, and unwavering client commitment.
Design Collaborative is serving as the architectural and engineering partner, working alongside Michael Kinder & Sons. Headquartered in Fort Wayne, DC’s team of financial market experts combine their retail banking, workplace, and marketing expertise to create tailored, future-focused facilities for banks and credit unions in Northeast Indiana and beyond.
Community members, local leaders, project partners, and media joined Beacon Credit Union in celebrating this exciting milestone for the Marion community.
