Wabash, IN. (April 10, 2026) – Beacon Credit Union is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin Shock as its new Commercial Credit & Loan Systems Manager, bringing nearly two decades of financial industry experience to the organization. In his new role, Shock will oversee all operational, analytical, and risk-management functions within the Commercial Lending Division. He will also provide leadership, training, and strategic guidance related to the software and compliance programs that support consumer, mortgage, commercial, and agricultural lending services.
Shock joins Beacon with 19 years of industry experience. He previously spent nine years at Chase Bank in Columbus, Ohio, where he served as both a Credit Analyst/Underwriter and a Credit Approval Officer. He also brings 10 years of experience from Star Bank in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he worked as a Commercial Underwriter and later led efforts in managing and optimizing loan-related software applications.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Shock resides in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with his wife of 33 years. Together, they have four children and a growing family that includes six grandchildren, with another on the way later this year.
