Merchant Dispute
A Merchant Dispute may be submitted to dispute a transaction that was authorized by the cardholder, but now needs to be disputed due to one of the following reasons. If you have a fraudulent transaction, please contact our Fraud Department at 800-762-3136 ext 2292.
Did you contact the merchant?
No – Please contact the merchant to report the duplicate transaction and request a refund.
Yes – If the merchant said they would issue credit you must wait 10 days to allow the Merchant to issue the credit. If there is not credit in 10 days, you may file a merchant dispute. If the merchant says they will not issue a credit, you may file a merchant dispute now.
Did you contact the merchant?
No – Please contact the merchant to report the error and request a refund for the difference.
Yes – If the Merchant said they would issue credit, you must wait 10 days to allow the Merchant to issue the credit. If there is no credit in 10 days, you can file a merchant dispute. If the Merchant says they will not issue a credit, you may file a merchant dispute now.

No – You will need to wait 10 days from date of credit issued.

Did you contact the Merchant after the recent transaction posted?
No – Please contact the Merchant to report the transaction and request a refund.
Yes – If Merchant said they would issue credit, you must wait 10 days to allow the Merchant to issue the credit. If there is not credit in 10 days, you may file a merchant dispute. If the merchant says they will not issue a credit, you may file the merchant dispute now.
Did you call the Merchant after you expected to receive the package?
No – Have you waited the allotted time to receive merchandise based on the Terms & Conditions? Please call the Merchant to report non-receipt of merchandise and request either a refund or reshipment of the product.
Yes – If Merchant said they would issue credit, you must wait 10 days to allow the Merchant to issue the credit. If there is no credit in 10 days, you may file a merchant dispute. If the Merchant says they will not issue a credit, you may file the merchant dispute.
Has it been 30 days since merchandise was returned?
No – You will need to wait 30 days from the date of return.
Yes – Contact the Merchant to request the status of merchandise for refund. If the Merchant says they have received and are refunding, you need to allow the 10 days to receive credit. If they say they have not received it, you may file a merchant dispute now. A copy of “return received” needs to be included with dispute.
