Wabash, IN (May 27) – Community members are invited to safely dispose of sensitive documents during Beacon Credit Union’s upcoming Shred Day on Saturday, August 8, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Wabash 641 S. Miami Street location.
This free community event offers a secure and convenient way to shred personal paperwork such as old bank statements, tax records, medical documents, and other confidential materials to help protect against identity theft and fraud.
Beacon Credit Union personnel will be on-site to help direct drivers to the shredding truck and assist with traffic flow throughout the event. Small paper clips and staples do not need to be removed before shredding.
To ensure smooth operation and allow as many community members as possible to participate, there will be a limit of three boxes per vehicle. Boxes must not exceed 18” x 12” x 15” in size.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as shredding services will be available until noon or until capacity is reached.
