Wabash, IN. (April 22, 2026) – Beacon Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Megan Callahan to Senior Vice President of Member Operations. In her new role, Callahan will lead the strategic vision, operational excellence, and member experience across all Beacon Credit Union member centers. She will oversee multi-site operations, ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional service, and lead initiatives focused on strengthening member engagement, operational efficiency, and organizational growth.
Callahan brings more than two decades of financial industry experience to the position. She began her career as an Assistant Manager with Kitsap Credit Union before joining Beacon Credit Union in 2014. During her time at Beacon, she has held several leadership roles including Member Center Manager, District Manager, and most recently Vice President of Lending.
She earned a high school diploma from Wabash High School, an Associate degree in Education from Vincennes University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Administration from Western Governors University. She is also a graduate of the Leadership Development Program of Wabash County.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Callahan is actively involved in the community. She currently serves on the board of directors for Wabash Valley Dance Theater and Downtown Wabash Inc. She also volunteers teaching Junior Achievement in Wabash County Schools and provides financial wellness education to participants in the Wabash County JCAP group. Callahan resides in Wabash County with her husband and children.
