Mitchell, IN (March 25) – Beacon Credit Union’s Mitchell Member Center recently presented a $2,000 donation to Hoosier Uplands, reinforcing its commitment to supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference in the communities it serves.

Hoosier Uplands is a local nonprofit based in Southern Indiana dedicated to serving individuals and families across Lawrence, Orange, and Washington counties. The organization’s mission focuses on alleviating poverty, improving living conditions, and expanding access to healthcare and social services for those in need.

“Hoosier Uplands is such a great organization that does so much within our surrounding counties,” said Kourtni Knapp, Mitchell Assistant Member Center Manager. “Knowing that our donation helps provide services to individuals who may not otherwise have access to the resources they need makes a significant impact in our communities.”
