What is Project Spotlight?
Project Spotlight is our community support program designed to discover worthwhile projects in each area that Beacon serves. Our hope is to be able to support community projects both large and small, and bring awareness to the many good things happening in our communities every day.
NEW! RULES for 2015!!
In celebration of our 5th annual Project Spotlight giving campaign, we will be rewarding the TOP 5 charitable organization in our 11 communities! A total of 55 charitable organization will walk away with $$$!
How does it work?
Project Spotlight is a charitable giving campaign that allows you to nominate local charities, non-for-profits and community projects for the potential to earn funding from Beacon Credit Union. First we ask community members to submit their local projects and organizations that they feel deserve support. Then we open up the voting process and have each community vote to support their favorite organization. With your help and participation, when the voting ends at the end of September, we’ll be donating a total of $25,000, benefiting 55 charitable organizations and projects in NE Indiana! ($2,500 split between the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place winners in each of our 11 communities) Here’s the details on how you can participate:
Submit Your Ideas!
Visit our website, Facebook page or any branch location to submit a project for Beacon to support. It doesn’t matter if it’s large or small – we want your ideas and your input. Nominations are open from March 17 – June 30, 2015. Project Spotlight isn’t just for Beacon members — we want everyone in the communities we serve to have the chance to participate! Be sure to nominate your favorite organization, charity, or community project!
