Shared Branches Get an A+ from College Students
Chances are you joined a Beacon because it’s conveniently located near your home or workplace – but that doesn’t always translate to convenience for your family members. That’s especially true if one of those family members is heading away to college this fall.
If your student is going to school in a town there isn't a Beacon branch – don’t worry. Through Shared Branching, your student can access their account, just as if they’re at the home branch.
Beacon Credit Union is a part of the shared branching network – which means that most likely there’s a shared branch near your son or daughter’s campus.
There’s no fee to access your Beacon accounts at a shared branch. This can save you and your college student money on ATM fees if you can’t find a no-surcharge ATM.
