It has been brought to our attention that scammer phone calls have been blanketing the region lately, and several of our members may have received them.
This phone call consists of an automated message stating that, “Your debit card has been deactivated.” It continues, saying in order to reactivate your card that you must enter the card number in full, the expiration date and your pin number.
These calls are NOT legitimate and have no attachment to the Credit Union. If you receive a phone call like this, simply hang up and under no circumstances should you provide any information. Please remember that we will never ask you to provide personal information to an automated call and that you should NEVER give anyone access to your PIN number.
