ATM Card Usage Restrictions in Foreign Countries

Due to increased fraudulent activity, Beacon Credit Union will no longer permit Beacon Debit Card or ATM Card transactions from the following countries:

Turkey
Romania
Bulgaria
Thailand
Netherlands
Nigeria
Pakistan
Moscow
Ukraine
Estonia
Russia
Vietnam
Mexico
 

PIN based transactions accepted only:
Canada
Great Britain/United Kingdom
Spain
Korea
Japan

As your credit union becomes subject to further losses due to fraudulent plastic card activity, it will become necessary to institute more restrictions. Please assist us through proper usage and take the appropriate measures to protect your card information.

Be cautious and observant in every instance where you use your ATM or Debit Card and report any machine you feel may seem suspicious.
